{  Evaluation and Reflection }

* How did the campaign raise awareness about the chosen SDGs? How did it inspire action in the community?
- In Katawan Ko, Karapatan Ko, we chose SDG 3 which is Good Health and Well-Being for our campaign. Specifically we wanted to raise awareness on sexual health, we wanted to spread awareness on the importance of maintaining sexual health and also the importance of knowing your body. We wanted to break down the negative stigma around this topic as we have found out how taboo this topic is in the Philippines. We raise awareness through our social media accounts, we post information on our accounts through informative posts, skits like some seen in our Artful Insights, through the Artful Insights, through our Wordles and much more! We wanted to hand out this information in ways that aren’t just saying the information, we wanted to be creative and not just go with the plain and obvious. We were able to also volunteer in our Medical Mission and was able to host a Bright Talks in our school! This inspired action in our community as we were able to post information that others might not know as SexEd surprisingly isn’t a topic that is mainstream in the curriculum systems of most schools, we were able to inspire our community by showing them the importance to know their body and to know when something is wrong or when something is right. We wanted to spread information to impact our community to know that they have the right to be able to know what is going on about their bodies.

* What were the main achievements and challenges encountered during the campaign?
- I believe the achievements do outweigh the challenges, as there has been a LOT I believe! Our first achievement I believe was being able to create an eye pleasing aesthetic for our campaign and being able to produce a creative and original logo, that I actually conceptualized! Our style is very well known as our style if you look through the other campaigns. We have been able to sell products to help gain money for our campaign, and we were one of the first groups to gain our goal, may I say, quite quickly! 4K was able to host a Bright Talk with the help of our beneficiary, and also help that same beneficiaries my (FPOP) in handing out free Pap smears! One achievement I think I really value is the fact we were still active even in the holidays, some other campaigns died down but we kept posting quite consistently. Some challenges that we have faced is some delay in our MOA if I am correct, another challenge is some schedules of our fellow members which lead to some of us missing meetings or meet-ups for our campaign, but that is really all the major challenges we had through the 4 quarters that I can think on the top of my head.

* What did you learn about advocacy, community engagement, and the importance of the SDGs through your participation in the campaign?
- In general I was able to learn about how important it is to use your voice to spread awareness of topics that is well known as taboo, I found out the importance of having confidence and courage in speaking out about these issues because we can not continue staying silent about these problems because staying silent simply means you enable it to happen. Issues based on the lack of SexEd will keep growing and growing if we do not speak up sooner, and through this campaign I definitely have found my voice in this conversation in society and I now know the rights and the wrongs. Advocacy, community engagement, and the importance of SDG’s all come down to one thing, and that is the power of our voices. SDG’s aim to transform our world, advocacy is the aiming to transform our world pertaining a problem, and community engagement is what we aim to hit to transform our world. That can all be boiled down to the usage of voices, through speaking up we can make a ripple like movement in society. Once we speak up, people can find the confidence to speak up too and this can keep passing on, spreading awareness.

* How can the campaign be improved or expanded in the future?
* I’m very proud in what we have been able to do, I would NEVER change anything about our campaign because I think it is perfect even with the flaws we have encountered along the way. But in the future I think we can even deeper the conversations and delve deeper into the SPECIFICS of Sexual Education, we do not need to sugar coat any of the wordings and actually give examples to fully make people understand how important it really is to understand their bodies. I think what we lacked slightly is not being able to delve deeper into specific of SexEd and that is because there are laws and regulations on what we can, or can’t show, and I fully respect that. But I do hope in the future, because we are very aware now in the times of social media, that we can even further the topics of SexEd.
